| Thurmont Thespians, Inc., a non-profit corporation chartered in Maryland. The Thurmont Thespians were founded in 1998 by Beth Royer Watson. Creating a summer workshop focused on teaching all aspects of theater to children and teens had been a dream of hers for many years. The dream was realized as the Thurmont Thespians. Each year a summer music theater workshop is presented for children and teens. The workshop culminates in a weekend of performances. The Thespians were founded upon three principles:
The Thurmont Thespians are generously supported by St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church of Thurmont, Maryland, which provides rehearsal and performance space. 2009 SEASON
